Invitation to the Wedding of the Current Admor of Belz Sent by the Imrei Chaim

Includes Autograph Invitation from the Yeshuos Moshe of Vizhnitz

Invitation to the wedding of Rabbi Yissaschar Dov Rokeach, present Admor of Belz, with the daughter of Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua Hager (future Admor of Vizhnitz), sent from the Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz, the bride’s grandfather.

This historic wedding took place on the 16th of Adar, 1965, in the Vizhnitz neighborhood of Bnei Brak. It was widely celebrated by thousands of guests from the Belz and Vizhnitz Chassidic courts and the event was given heavy coverage by the press.

This wedding, followed by Rabbi Yissaschar Dov’s appointment as Admor one year later, served as a major turning point in the reestablishment of the Belzer Chassidus following World War II. Today, Belz numbers as one of the largest Chassidic courts.

On the blank side of the invitation there is a personal handwritten and signed invite by the bride’s father, the Admor Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua Hager of Vizhnitz, author of Yeshuos Moshe.

Dated Bnei Brak, 1965.
