Novellae on Tractate Shabbos Handwritten by the Admor Rabbi Yaakov Tzvi Yalish of Dinov, Author of “Meloh HaRo’im”

Handwritten novellae from Rabbi Yaakov Tzvi Yalish on tractate Shabbos (pages 53-61), including many handwritten additions in the margins.

The novellae is written by the author in a thin and legible handwriting.

These novellae were not published in the Vilna Edition Shas, but were published in the new Meloh HaRo’im edition (Jerusalem, 1973).

Rabbi Yaakov Tzvi Yallish (1778-1825) was a disciple of the Chozeh of Lublin, the Maggid of Kozhnitz and Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Riminov, and a friend of the Bnei Yissaschar and the Yeshuos Yaakov. He served as ab”d of Dinov and authored Melo Haro’im. Although he passed away at a young age, his literary accomplishments in both the revealed and hidden aspect of Torah were extensive.
