Letter of Blessing by Harav Moishele of Shinova the Miracle Worker, 1916.

Autographed letter by the venerable Harav Moshe Halberstam of Shinova and Sanz, son of the Divrei Yechezkel. The last line of the letter is handwritten, and the letter is autographed and stamped by the Rebbe.

The majority of the letter is replete with heartfelt blessings, as
“I am praying on his behalf that Hashem shall beget his success…and he shall have blessing, success, nachas and peace of mind, and he shall merit to always share good news…”

The final line is handwritten: “His friend who inquires after his welfare, looks forward to hearing good news, and desires his success, Hakatan Moshe Halberstam.”

Harav Moshe Halberstam of Shinova (1843 – 1919) was the son of the holy Harav Yechezkel of Shinova. Rabbi Moshe was renowned as a miracle worker and venerated for his exceptional piety and holiness. His father attested that he was “Born completely spiritual, ” and his grandfather the Divrei Chaim of Sanz, foresaw an illustrious future for him. Harav Moshe succeeded his father as Rav of Shinova until his appointment as Rav of Sanz in 1904. Upon his passing, the Minchas Elazar himself insisted on performing the taharah, and he was buried near his revered grandfather the Divrei Chaim in the Ohel of Sanz.
