Sefer Yesod
Toldos Aharon. First Edition. Freiberg, Germany 1583
Sefer Toldos Aharon by Rabbi Aharon of Fiasro, identifying and marking every verse in Tanach referenced in Talmud Bavli.
Toldos Aharon was one of the first learning-aid sefarim, and its importance remains paramount. Using this sefer, anyone can easily find any verse that is illuminated in the Gemara and what the sages deduce from it.
Due to its widespread popularity, Toldos Aharon was added to the Chumash in 1590 and has since been republished hundreds of times, with various modifications and additions.
This is the only edition in which the original Toldos Aharon was printed alone, without the Chumash text.
