Over 500 years old                                                                                                                                                                                          Complete volume of Maseches Eduyos from the original Bomberg Edition of the Talmud, with the Ramba”m and Rava”d commentary.

Printed with dark ink on thick, high-quality paper by the celebrated printer Daniel Bomberg of Venice. His work established and set the form of the Babylonian Talmud for over five hundred years!

This is the first edition of maseches Eduyos ever printed and of the commentary of Rabbi Avrohom ben Dovid the “Ravad ” on masechet Eduyos.

The mishnayos are printed twice, once with the commentary of the Rambam and again with the commentary of the Ravad. There is no gemara for maseches Eduyos.

Maseches Eduyos – which means ‘testimonies’ is not dedicated to one specific topic but rather a collection of selected Mishnayos, which were chosen because they were transmitted as witnessed testimonies. Another meaning for ‘Eduyos’ [derived from the word idis] is ‘superior’ for their superior halachic importance and accuracy as the name Eduyos implies (see tractate Berachos 27a).
