Mishnayos seder Zera’im contains all the ten masechtos of seder Zeraim which do not have gemara, printed with the Rambam’s commentary and the first edition of Rabbi Shimshon of Shantz’s commentary.
 
 
This volume was printed as an integral part of the famous first Shas edition, printed by Daniel Bomberg, which established the form of Talmud Bavli for over five hundred years!
 
 
Printed in the famed printing house of Daniel Bomberg with dark ink on thick, high-quality paper.
 
 
The Mishnah is printed in the center of the page and around it is the commentary of the Rambam and Rabbi Shimshon of Shantz.
 
First edition of Rabbi Shimshon of Shantz’s fundamental commentary, which was printed in all future Shasim in the margins of the Seder Zeraim Mishnayot.
 
Colophon: we cultivated holy seeds, planted it, and produced praiseworthy fruit. The complete mishna from Rabbenu Hakadosh on Seder Zeraim, with the commentary of Rabeinu Moshe Ben Maimon, and the commentary of the great eagle Rabbeinu Shimshon of Shanza of the Baalei Tosfos….and for the scarcity of the commentary of Rabbeinu Shimshon, we only had one copy….[of a manuscript of his commentary]

                                                                    The Bomberg Shas
 The first complete set of Talmud Bavli was printed by Daniel Bomberg in his famed printing house in Venice between the years 1520-1523. The complete set was a masterpiece, with attractive, clear type and practically free of censorship. It likewise contained new additions that were printed for the first time based on handwritten manuscripts.
 
Commonly regarded as the prototype for all future editions, the Venice Shas established the famous tzuras hadaf which fixed the number of pages in each tractate and served as the basis for all future printings of the Gemara. Until this very day, anyone who cites a source in Shas references the daf as established in Bomberg’s Venice Shas.
