Midrash Aggadah on the pesukim of the Torah and Nevi’im revealed by Eliyahu Hanavi. This Midrash is one of the fundamental works of Chazal.
The Talmud Bavli relates that these Aggados were revealed by Eliyahu Hanavi to Rav Anan (see at length in Shem Hagedolim, Seder Eliyahu Rabba by the Chida).
The present edition text of Tanna Dvei Eliyahu was based on a manuscript written in 4946 (1185). This Midrash is comprised of two sections:
Seder Eliyahu Rabba (31 chapters) and
Seder Eliyahu Zuta (25 chapters).
Venice, 1598. First Edition. Page Count: 69 leaves.
Page Size: 19 cm.
Condition: Good. Minor repairs on margins of first and last leaves. New leather binding.
