Comments, amendments and supplements to the Beis Yosef on all four sections of Arba Turim by Maran Rabbeinu Yosef Karo.

The sefer Bedek Habayis completes Rabbi Yosef Karo’s monumental work Beis Yosef. The author himself attests that the Beis Yosef is incomplete without it. Bedek Habayis adds many chiddushim, annotations and amendments into the Beis Yosef.

In his preface, Rabbi Yosef Karo writes “After Hashem has helped me compose the sefer Beis Yosef and it spread throughout the borders of Yisrael, Hashem has helped me again to return and peruse it, and I thought of additional chiddushim and additions and annotations…Also the printers omitted much of what I wrote, and I had planned to add the extra chiddushim into the second edition, but I did not succeed…

Ultimately, the Beis Yosef’s wish was granted, and future editions of Beis Yosef include the Bedek Habayis interspersed within the text.
