The flyleaf  features the red wax seal of Rabbi Yeshaya’le of Kerestir. One can clearly distinguish the words
“Yeshaya Steiner B [Badrag] Kerestir”.

 

and a long detailed inscription regarding Rabbi Yeshaya’le’s provenance:
“This sefer belongs to the honorable holy Admor Rabbi and tzaddik renowned throughout the world 
Who performs chessed for thousands, a holy flame and miracle worker, the honorable and holy Rabbi Yeshaya Steiner shlit”a”.

 

Both the title page and final page feature the sacred autograph of Rabbi Yeshaya of Kerestir’s son and successor, the Admor Rabbi Avraham Steiner
(1883-1927) who perpetuated his father’s sacred legacy of charity and loving-kindness and generated miracles and salvations for thousands of Jews. He passed away at a young age, when he was but 44 years old, and was buried beside his father in the Ohel in Kerestir.
The sefer also bears the seal of the pious
Rabbi Reuven Chaim Klein, son-in-law of Rabbi Yeshaya of Kerestir and author of Matteh Reuven.
The
Admor Rabbi Yeshaya Steiner
(1852-1925), known far and wide as
Rav Yeshaya’le Kerestirer, was a paragon of holiness, loving-kindness and charity who performed miracles and wonders for the masses and distributed colossal sums of money for charity. His door was open to every Jew, and every meal in his home was a communal gathering, as the poor and hungry came together to eat at his table.
Rabbi Yeshaya’le was the prime disciple and personal aide of the Admor Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Liska who praised his student’s holiness and spiritual greatness. He was ordained by both the Admor of Sanz and Rabbi Mordecha’lei of Nadvorna to become Admor and leader of the community.
