Two 18th century Italian manuscripts bound together with illustrated title pages.
1) The Tikkun Chatzos Yom that is customarily recited during the Three Weeks between the 17th of Tammuz and Tisha B’Av.
2) Hoshanos for Sukkos and Hoshanah Rabba.
The title page of the Tikkun Chatzos reads: “The work of the hands of Tuvia Baruch Pontremoli who lives in the city of Casale Monferrato…made again in the year 1750.”
Both manuscripts with artistic title pages. An additional title page designed by a resident of Casale was added, signed, “Moshe Yaakov Kohen from Casale.”
Italy, 18th century. [18]: [44] leaves. Page size: 12 cm. Minor tears and defects on many pages professionally restored. New half cloth and marbleized paper binding.
