A letter abounding with chiddushei Torah by Rabbi Amram Fischer, Av Beis Din of Yunk, to his brother-in-law Rabbi Yosef Leib Sofer, Av Beis Din of Paks and author of Yalkut Sofer.
Rabbi Amram Fischer (circa 1853-1925) was the son of Rabbi Akiva Fischer, Av Beis Din of Tet and author of Ateres Akiva. He was a talmid of the Ksav Sofer, Shevet Sofer and Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Mannheimer, Av Beis Din of Ungvar. Rabbi Amram married the daughter of Rabbi Eliezer Zussman Sofer, Av Beis Din of Paks, and settled near his illustrious father-in-law, accepting a position as dayan in the town of Halász. In 1879, he was appointed Av Beis Din of Yunk, a position he filled until his passing in 1925. His written legacy remains in Divrei Amram, printed within his father’s sefer, Ateres Akiva.
