The Vilna Gaon’s Customs
The customs, rites, practices, and special prayers of the Vilna Gaon.
Edited and compiled by Rabbi Yissachar Ber ben Rabbi Tanchum of Vilna.
Beautiful copy complete with both title pages.
Sefer Maaseh Rav has been accepted as the most reliable source for the customs of the Vilna Gaon. The Torah sages of the following generations studied this sefer in depth in order to clarify the Vilna Gaon’s customs, and the Chafetz Chaim cites most of the customs that relate to Orach Chaim in the Mishnah Berurah.
Written by
Rabbi Yissachar Ber ben Rabbi Tanchum of Vilna
