___

The Admor Rabbi Yisrael of Husyatin (1858-1949) was the only grandson of holy Ruzhiner Rebbe. Was known as a genius and miracle worker whose blessings merited in bringing salvation for those in need , it was said that the ruach hakodesh that hovered upon him was nearly palpable, as it was for the great Admorim of generations past.
In 1894, Rabbi Yisrael succeeded his father Rabbi Mordechai Feivish (son of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin) as Admor of Husyatin. During World War I, he emigrated to Vienna and subsequently embarked on a journey to Eretz Yisrael where he settled in 1937 and was venerated as the elder of all the Chassidic Admorim.
