Passover Haggadah with dozens of breathtaking illustrations, woodcuts and ornamental initials.

Rabbi Yehuda Aryeh of Modena’s Tzli Eish commentary, an abridged version of Zevach Pesach by the Abarbanel, is printed in the margins.

The last page features the melody “Almachteger Gott” sung by various Jewish communities in Europe (see sidebar).

Temple Shireh
The last page of this spectacular Haggadah features the famous Yiddish-German melody sung by many Jewish families of European origin at the end of the seder. The song, renowned as ‘Temple Shireh’ begins with the words “Almachteger Gott, nun boin dein Temple shireh” and was partially adapted from the song “Adir Hu.”
