This manuscript by Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald, Av Beis Din of Satmar contains chiddushim on various sugyos in Shas. The flyleaf presents a handwritten index of the sugyos referenced in this manuscript, and the back flyleaf is filled with kvittelach inscribed by his talmidim, along with the written testimony of his disciple Rabbi Moshe ben Rabbi Ezriel Schwartz of Satmar (author of Zvadin L’Orcha V’Tikkun Hanefesh) that this manuscript is the work of his master Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald.
Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald (1860-1920), Av Beis Din of Satmar, was a venerable Hungarian sage and beloved disciple of the Ksav Sofer who proposed the shidduch between Rav Yehuda and his niece. His yeshivah was one of the largest in all of Hungary at the time, and he authored several famous works, among them
Ollelos Yehuda on Tehillim and the three-volume
Shu”t Zichron Yehuda.
