14-Volume Miniature Tanach in Antique Leather Binding. Paris, 1544-1546

A full set of Torah, Nevi’im and Kesuvim with nekudos. Complete with all 16 title pages, this spectacular miniature Tanach was printed by the famed Parisian printer Robert Stefanos, official printer for the French monarch. The set boasts beautiful type and is bound in matching antique leather bindings with gilded engravings.
Schreiber (Estienne 82) notes that
“This pocket Tanach has long been regarded as one of the most impressive samples of Hebrew printing in Renaissance France. This edition is extremely rare and seldom found in such complete, good condition.”
