The Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, widely referred to as the ‘Kitzur’ swiftly became one of the most popular excepted Hebrew works in the Jewish world due to its comprehensive content and clear language which can be easily understood by laymen and scholars alike.

During the author’s lifetime alone, it was reprinted in over 14 editions with varying translations and commentaries . Today, there is barely an observant Jewish home without a copy of Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, likely the most frequently-printed halachic textbook with close to 3 million copies to date.

The first edition is extremely rare, the author not knowing what a success it would be, printed a limited amount, and due to it success was very used hence very few copy’s survived.
