One Good Word
In the forewords to their works, many a Torah author inscribed apologetically that even if his work does not contain any groundbreaking novellae, there is at least one good thing in the sefer that justifies its publication: “The wise man said: One good word shall save the whole sefer.” The original source of this expression is in the foreword to Toras Gittin.
Frankfurt an der Oder, 1813. First edition. [1], 129 leaves. 19.5 cm. Small stain on title page verso. Good condition. New cloth binding.
