Handwritten, autographed letter of chiddushim and pilpull by Harav Eliezer Dovid Greenwald, Av Beis Din in Satmar.

 Harav Eliezer Dovid Greenwald (1867 – 1928) was the younger brother and disciple of the Arugas Habosem. A chassid of both the Admor of Belz and Admor of Shinova, he was renowned for his passionate prayers and lectures and fought avidly to preserve tradition. His yeshivah boasted over five hundred students and Torah scholars from Hungary and beyond. His novellae were published by his disciple in Keren Dovid.

Satmar, undated, circa 1920’s. 2 leaves, 4 sides. Page size: 23×14 cm. Good condition. Part of the contents of this letter appear in Keren Dovid
