4 sides replete with deep chiddushei Torah and pilpul, handwritten and autographed by Harav Shaul Rosenberg, Av Beis Din of Ratzfert. In the course of the letter, he writes, “I presented this question to…the Yitav Lev of Sighet, and he answered me…”
Harav Shaul Rosenberg (1865-1940), Av Beis Din of Ratzfert, was renowned throughout Hungary for his sanctity and piety. Blessed with ruach hakodesh, he disseminated Torah with love for close to 40 years and was revered for his brilliance and vast Torah wisdom.
In his youth, he traveled to study under Harav Tzvi Hirsch of Liska, and in his later years maintained a close relationship with the Admorim of Belz. He authored sefer Chemdas Shaul.
