Harav Yechiel Margalios of Rudnick. Harav Yechiel was a close disciple and chassid of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz who, in his elder years, fulfilled his lifelong dream of settling in the Holy Land to engage in Torah and avodas Hashem.

In his letter, Harav Shalom Eliezer attests that “He was accustomed to linger in the holy shadow of my great father, the holy Gaon of Sanz zt”l and seek his closeness, for he is great in Torah, sharp and erudite, and a famous chassid.”
