Handwritten Letter with Blessings by the Admor Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar. Sharon Springs, 1958
This letter was written in response to a Satmar chassid who requested counsel and blessing regarding a serious medical issue.
The Admor concludes his letter with warm words of blessing: “Hashem Yisborach should comfort you with righteousness, and all you shall do shall be with great success. Hashem Yisborach shall send His word to heal you with a complete and full recovery, and you shall merit enjoying great pleasure and nachas from all your descendants.”
The majority of the letter was penned by the famed gabbai Rabbi Yosef Ashkenazy, who served the Satmar Rav faithfully for nearly half a century. The letter concludes with the handwritten inscription and autograph of the Rebbe.
In the margin, Rabbi Yosef Ashkenazy notes that any erasure or cross-out in the letter was made upon the instruction of the Rebbe who had personally reviewed the letter.
