A warm letter of blessing and wishes for a speedy recovery by the saintly Admor and miracle worker Rabbi Yeshaya’le of Kerestir.
“And I pray… Hashem Yisborach should send His word and heal you completely and speedily. May only goodness and kindness pursue you and all your loved ones, and you should succeed in all your endeavors.”
The letter is signed with his full autograph:
“Hakatan Yeshaya ben Moreinu Harav Moshe z”l who served in the holy (court) of the righteous Rav of Liska zy”a.”
The
holy tzaddik Admor Harav Yeshaya Steiner (1852-1925), known far and wide as Rav Yeshaya’le Kerestirer, known as a pillar of loving kindness and charity who performed miracles and wonders for the masses and distributed colossal sums of money in charity. His door was open to every Jew, and every meal in his home was a communal gathering as the poor, hungry and wayfarers gathered to eat at his table.
Rabbi Yeshaya’le was the prime disciple and personal aide of the Admor Harav Tzvi Hirsch of Liska who praised his student’s holiness and spiritual greatness. After the Admor of Liska passed away, Rabbi Yeshaya’le acquired a following of Jews who spread word of his spiritual greatness and miraculous powers, drawing thousands to his door in search of blessing and counsel. Despite his fame and stature, he was the epitome of a humble Jew who signed his name only as “meshamesh of the tzaddik of Liska zy”a.”
“He will surely heal…”
Beyond Rav Yeshaya’le’s power of blessing that granted parnassah to those in need, he was especially famous for his power to heal the sick. Many ill and infirmed whom doctors had long since despaired of healing received the blessing of Rav Yeshaya’le which restored them to complete health and granted them many years of fulfilling life.

………………………………………..
Harav Elimelech Fishman H”yd (1881-1944) was a disciple of the Kedushas Yom Tov and Arugas Habosem. He fled his native town during World War One and found refuge in Irshava where he was appointed gabbai to the famed Admor Harav Yoel of Satmar with whom he learned regularly. When the position of gabbai to the Admor of Kerestir became available, the Satmar Rav advised his faithful gabbai to relocate to Kerestir and accept the appointment in the Holy Court of Kerestir. When Rav Elimelech entered the sanctum of Rabbi Yeshaya’le with his kvittel, the Rebbe perused the note, closed his eyes and appeared to doze momentarily before spontaneously crying out, “Ir vet bleiben bei mir! You shall stay with me!” Rabbi Elimelech Fishman was thus appointed gabbai and chazzan during the Yomim Nora’im in Kerestir.
