Explanations on mysterious Medrashim (Medrash Peliah) compiled from Amudeha Shiva by Rabbi Betzalel of Kobrin, edited by Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua of Zhitomir, author of Geulas Yisrael and one of the foremost publishers of chassidic teachings.

During this time period, the government banned the printing of Jewish seforim so an earlier date of 1804 was recorded on the title page to avoid prosecution. The name of the printer appears as Yehudis Rosenish of Lvov.
