The book bears the autograph of the Admor Harav Nachum Dovber of Sadigura; and his stamps with image of a lion, and a red and gold ex-libris from his vast library. The binding is likewise the original leather binding from the Admor’s library.

The Admor Harav Nachum Dovber Friedman (1844-1883) was the son of the Admor Harav Shalom Yosef of Ruzhin, son of the holy Harav Yisrael of Ruzhin. Harav Nachum married his first cousin, the daughter of his uncle Harav Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura. He was a revered Torah scholar and tzaddik, and famous for his vast library and collection of valuable, rare seforim.
