A large, comprehensive commentary on the entire sefer Tehillim by Rabbi Yoel ibn Shuiv.

This work of over 600 pages is one of the most thorough and noteworthy commentaries on Tehillim, and yet has never been reprinted.

Rabbi Yoel ibn Shuiv, Rabbi of Aragon and Navarra, was one of the greatest commentators in the era of the Spanish Expulsion. Fleeing Spain, he settled in Salonika where he served as Rabbi of the Congregation of Jews from Aragon. He authored his work on Tehillim in Toledo in the year 1489. Other published works include: Olas Shabbos (Venice, 1577) and a commentary on Eichah published together with Harav Avraham Galante’s
Kol Bochim (Venice, 1589).

Salonika, 1569. First Edition. 324 leaves. Page size: 19.5cm. Title page professionally restored. Minor tear on page 210 not effecting text. few moth holes. Half-leather binding. Rare.
