Est. Price: $3,000 - $5,000

Prayer for Recovery from Illness by the Kabbalist Rabbi Shimshon Chaim Nachmani, Author of Zera Shimshon.

This prayer was composed by the saintly kabbalist Rabbi Harav Shimshon Chaim Nachmani following the outbreak of plagues in Livorno which claimed hundreds of Jewish lives.

Author of the Zera Shimshon,
Harav Shimshon Chaim Nachmani (1707-1779) was a venerable Italian rabbi and kabbalist. He was renowned for his spiritual sanctity and fluent in practical kabbalah. Prior to his death, he commanded that all his kabbalistic writings should be buried beside him in his grave. Since he was never blessed with children, he named his sefarim Zera Shimshon and Toldos Shimshon.

There is a famous segulah to learn from the sefer Zera Shimshon in order to be blessed with children.

Folded page, handwritten on both sides. Presumably copied in the late 18th century following the author’s passing. Page size: 15x19cm. Good condition.
This prayer is not found in any other source or bibliography.
