Handwritten halachic responsum by Harav Chaim Yaakov Fried to his son-in-law Harav Efraim Weber.


Harav Chaim Yaakov Fried (1835-1917) was the son of Harav Avraham Aharon Tzvi Fried, Av Beis Din of Negrest. Harav Chaim Yaakov served as Rav and Av Beis Din in Betelen and succeeded his father in Negrest before accepting the appointment of Rav and Av Beis Din in Tissa Lik in 1872. His responsa were printed in Shu”t Avnei Tzedek, Mahariatz, Neta Sorek and Beis Naftali.
