Beis Elokim by Rabbi Moshe ben Yosef M’Trani (the Mabit) is a work on fundamentals of basic Torah and religious concepts. It is divided into three sections: T’filah, Tesuvah and concepts in Emunah and includes a commentary on Perek Shira.
Many fundamental concepts of Jewish beliefs including repentance and prayer are explained in this work. It became one of the classical and popular books on this subject, being quoted and learned extensively throughout the generations. (This work was also frequently quoted during the covid-19 pandemic regarding proper conduct during an epidemic. See page 18: A).
