The official wedding invitation of the Admor Harav Shlomo Dovid Yehoshua of Slonim to the daughter of the Admor Harav Yitzchak Menachem of Alexander, author of Akeidas Yitzchak.
The Admor’s wedding took place within the year of the passing of his father, the Beis Avraham, so the invitation was thus signed by his mother Rebbetzin Bracha Elka, who was a daughter of the Admor HaravTzvi Hirsh of Lomaz-Kotzk.
The Admor Harav Shlomo Dovid Yehoshua of Slonim Hy”d (1916-1943) also known as the Yunger Rebbe of Slonim, was the only son to his father the Beis Avraham, he was exceedingly pious from childhood and was appointed Rebbe at the young age of twenty. On the wedding invitation, he already holds the prestigious title of ‘Admor.’ Harav Shlomo Dovid Yehoshua initially he refused to take leadership and preferred to dwell beside his father-in-law in Alexander, yet after two years he returned to Baranowicz to lead the Chasidim and was accepted by all unequivocally.
The Admor perished in labor camps outside Baranowicz in 1943.
