Autographed Letter by the Admor of Chernobyl Harav Baruch Asher Twersky zt"l
Autographed letter of blessing by the Admor Harav Baruch Asher Twersky, son and successor of his saintly father Harav Aharon of Chernobyl. This letter, replete with blessings and best wishes to a chassid you should be blessed with all the good Bruchniuth u"vegashmiuth" is autographed with the inscription: “Baruch Asher son of the illustrious Moreinu Harav Aharon zt”l.”
The Admor Harav Baruch Asher of Chernobyl (d. 1905) succeeded his father Harav Aharon of Chernobyl as Admor of the Chernobyl dynasty in 1872, leading thousands of chassidim, and guiding them along the path of Torah and Chassidus.
A genius in Torah and halachah, he corresponded frequently with his cousin Harav Mordechai Dov of Hornosteipel. He was buried at his father’s side in Chernobyl.
It’s known amongst the chassidim that Harav Mordechai of Chernobyl transmitted the power of his blessings to his son Harav Aharon who transmitted them to his son Harav Baruch Asher.
