Dibros Shlomo by Rabbi Shlomo of Lutsk. First Edition. Zolkova, 1848.

Commentary on the Chumash by Harav Shlomo of Lutsk, one of the prime disciples of the Maggid of Mezritch.

The sefer opens with Rabbi Shlomo’s renowned introductions to the sefer Maggid Dvarav L’Yaakov in which he shares glimpses of the unfathomable spiritual greatness of his masters: the Maggid of Mezritch and the Baal Shem Tov.

In his letter of endorsement to Maggid Dvarav L’Yaakov, the Chozeh of Lublin praises Rabbi Shlomo of Lutsk’s introductions, and he likewise penned an endorsement to this sefer which he describes as containing “Wondrous and very sweet novellae.”

Rabbi Shlomo of Lutsk disseminated Torah and chassidus to thousands, most notably among them his prime disciple the Sar Shalom of Belz.
