Torah novellae on maseches Pesachim by Harav Yitzchak Halevi Horowitz in response to a letter from his grandson Harav Pinchas Halevi Horowitz — Av Beis Din of Bistricz, son of Harav Aryeh Leib Horowitz who authored Harei Besamim.
Harav Yitzchak Halevi Ish Horowitz (1828-1904) was the son of Harav Meshulam Yissachar Halevi Horowitz, author of Bar Livoi, who was one of the premier Galician sages of his era. As Av Beis Din of Stanislav, Harav Yitzchak taught Torah and chassidus to hundreds and was a beloved disciple of Rav Chaim of Sanz. He compiled Shu”t Toldos Yitzchak.
