Autographed Letter by the Admor Rabbi Moshe Eichenstein of Zidichov
A letter of recommendation and request by Hagaon Harav Moshe Eichenstein of Zidichov on behalf of his student who aspired to travel to the Holy Land and enroll in the Rayatz Dushinsky’s Yeshivah in Yerushalayim.
The Admor Harav Moshe Eichenstein of Zidichov Hy”d, was the son of the Admor Harav Yissachar Berish of Veretzky. He succeeded his father as Rebbe in Zidichov, but in his later years relocated along with his yeshivah to Munkacz. He was revered for his remarkable sanctity, piety, prayers, and diligence in study, and many came to him for blessing and counsel. It is said that he was such a masmid that he could quote entire passages from the Gemara in his sleep.
The Minchas Yitzchok who has learned with his son BeChavrusa attested that ‘his words are full of light and are illuminating’, His teachings were compiled into Zichron Moshe on Rashi and the Ohr Hachaim.
