Passover Haggadah in Hebrew with translation into Mahratti (Indian dialect) edited by Rabbi Chaim Yosef Haligoua.
This is the first Passover Haggadah translated into Mahratti, the spoken Indian-Jewish dialect. The title page proclaims, “This is a brand-new translation never seen before.”
Hebrew and Mahratti translation appear on parallel leaves.
The first pages of this Haggadah feature 13 illustrations depicting the simanim of the seder. On Page [5], there is a drawing of a ke’arah and the foods placed on it.
