Harav Meir Simcha Hahohein (1843 – 1926) was Av Beis Din of Dvinsk and authored the Ohr Somayach and Meshech Chochmah. An eminent Lithuanian scholar, he was well-versed in the secrets of Torah and venerated by all his contemporary Rabbanim who praised his prolific works, attributes and genius.
