Harav Avraham Yeshaya Karelitz, author of the Chazon Ish, from his years in Vilna. The letter is long and divided into 6 paragraphs that present Torah novellae on a variety of topics.

The letter fills both sides of the postcard. At the top of the letter, the Chazon Ish apologizes for his delayed response:
“Your letter arrived, yet many grave duties that I cannot recount occupied me greatly, and I was away from my house for two weeks. Now I am making the effort to prepare a response to the topics in your letter.”
