The autograph of the Noda B’Yehudah’s son: “Hakatan Shmuel Segal Landau son of the Author” appears on the title page. The signature is a remnant of a handwritten dedication that was erased.
Throughout the copy are many marginal notes in the handwriting of
Harav Chaim Dishvek
of Hechingen, one of the famed scholars from the Kloiz in Hechingen who corresponded with the author of the Teshuvah Me’Ahavah. Some of the notes are marked with his initials “CDP” or “CD.” On Leaf 29a he reveals his full name “Chaim Dishvek.” This work also features the signatures of
Harav Elyakum Gutshlick Katz Elsantz, Av Beis Din of Mannheim and his son-in-law Harav Yaakov Koppel Bamberger, Av Beis Din of Worms.
