Sefer Meor Einayim by Harav Hakadosh Rav Menachem Nochum of Chernobyl
Sacred teachings and essays that illuminate one’s heart and mind in the service of Hashem by Harav Hakadosh Rav Menachem Nochum of Chernobyl.
Harav Yisrael of Ruzhin, among many great Chassidic sages, extolled the praises of sefer Meohr Einayim, describing it as “The entry and beginning of Chassidus.”
Harav Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev attested in his haskamah to the first edition of this sefer that “All his words are the words of the Living G-d.” Harav Yitzchak of Skver, citing the words of the Chozeh mi’Lublin, affirmed that he has “Never seen such wonderful teachings as those in three sefarim: Sefer HaZohar, Ohr Hachaim and Meor Einayim.”
Harav Yitzchak Eisik of Komarno likewise inscribed: “Sefer Meor Einayim should not move from one’s eyes, and all his words are lofty and holy” (Nesiv Mitzvosecha, Shvil HaTorah, Letter 32).
