Guidelines of Vizhnitz Chassidim Signed by the Yeshuos Moshe of Vizhnitz. 1977.
Policy and list of guidelines instituted in the Beis Medrash of Vizhnitz chassidim, 1977, approved and signed by the Admor Harav Moshe Yehoshua Hager of Vizhnitz, author of Yeshuos Moshe.
This policy, drafted in Rechovot, includes ten paragraphs regarding prayers and appropriate conduct for chassidim. Examples include: a Friday night gathering to learn Ohr Hachaim on the weekly Torah portion, singing songs and praises of Hashem, discussing Torah thoughts and sharing customs and stories of the disciples of the Baal Shem Tov as well as the regular study of Minchas Chinuch, a sefer studied extensively by the Admor.
The Admor Harav Moshe Yehoshua Hager of Vizhnitz (1886-2012) author of Yeshuos Moshe, succeeded his father the Imrei Chaim as Vizhnitzer Rebbe in 1972.
In 1979, the same year that this policy was drafted and instituted, the Rebbe introduced regular public Torah lectures and ruled that his chassidim should gather in the Beis Medrash for a fixed study program.
