Complete, rare manuscript by Mori Chaim Korach, spiritual leader and Torah sage in 19th century Sanaa.
There are few complete existing manuscripts by Yemenite sages that are neither copies nor anthologies. This complete work encompasses commentaries and writings upon Tanach, Megillos, Pirkei Avos and Tehillim.
Mori Chaim Korach (1824-1914) numbered among the leading sages in Sanaa, Yemen and was the spiritual leader of the Jewish community. Although he did not fill any official role, he was a Torah genius who taught legions of students and was revered by all who knew him, among them Mori Yichya Kapach.
His commentary on Megillos was printed in Sefer 3 Megillos by S. Nagar; the rest of the manuscript apparently remains unpublished.
