Complete, lengthy handwritten letter by the Lubavitcher Rebbe Harav Menachem Mendel Schneerson. Letters of this length by the Lubavitcher Rebbe are exceedingly rare.
In this letter, the Rebbe replies to assorted questions regarding customs observed by Lubavitcher chassidim, the correct text of prayer, and his family custom regarding reciting “Tatte, ich vil…” prior to “Ma nishtanah” at the Pesach seder.
In his distinct manner, the Rebbe replies clearly and explicitly to each question, drawing several of his responses from the wisdom of kabbalah and manifesting his broad knowledge of Sefer HaZohar.
The letter was dispatched after the Rebbe’s return from visiting his mother in Paris following her escape from the Soviet Union.
