A Letter of Blessing for Nachas by Rebbetzin Chana Schneerson, Mother of the Lubavitcher Rebbe

“Blessings for a gmar chasimah tovah in material and spiritual realms, and you shall merit longevity and long days and years of goodness and nachas from your children.”
The letter is handwritten and signed by the Rebbetzin.
Rebbetzin Chana Schneerson (1880-1965) was the wife of the Harav Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, Av Beis Din of Yaktrinoslav and mother of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Harav Menachem Mendel Schneerson. She stood faithfully at her husband’s side while they were exiled to Kazakhstan. She miraculously fled Russia and was reunited with her son, the Rebbe, in Paris in 1947. Following the instruction of the Raayatz, the two crossed the Atlantic by boat to American shores.
Rebbetzin Chana Schneerson lived the last 17 years of her life alone in her house on President Street in Crown Heights, in close proximity to “770”. Her son, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, would visit her every day.
