Order of 100 Brachos. Amsterdam, 1687.

Complete exquisite copy!

Seder Me’ah Brachos contains all blessings, along with various prayers, Haggadah shel Pesach, customs and a Jewish calendar. Printed in both Hebrew and Spanish on opposite sides of the page. Two titles pages, with the first featuring intricate copper engravings composed of five miniature illustrations of different blessings.

This book includes the prayer recited upon those burned at the stake al kiddush Hashem (see p. 300), which was historically recited by descendants of Kedoshim who perished in the notorious auto-da-fés held during the terrors of the Inquisition years.

To our knowledge, the Haggadah shel Pesach printed here in its entirety, alongside its Spanish translation,
is the very first Hagaddah printed with a Spanish translation. A Jewish calendar appears at the end of the book.

Complete copy in excellent condition! Thin white paper, gilded at edges. The original wooden cover was artistically restored with a leather binding. Eight small silver plates are aesthetically laid on the corners and another engraved silver plate is positioned in the center, along with two decorative clasps. All original.

The center plate is engraved with the illustration of a deer and the name R’ Tebli ben Hakadosh Itzhak Wimpa, Sgan Levi. Itzhak was an officer of the Frankfurt Jewish community.

Amsterdam, 1687. Includes endorsements by the famed Amsterdam Rabbis Yitzchak Abuhav and Yaakov Sasportas. Page size: 12.9 cm. [1] Illustrated title page [10] p. 303, 54 [1], [15], 7, [20].
