Handwritten halachic responsa by author of Maase La’Melech regarding using maaser funds to create a charity fund and distribute the dividends to the poor at the end of each year.
Rabbi Yeshaya Zilberstein, Av Beis Din of Vizen (1857-1930), author of the Maase La’Melech on the Rambam, was the son of the author of the Shvilei Dovid and a leading Hungarian Rabbi who served as Rav of Vizen for forty-six years. In his early youth, he corresponded with the great Torah luminaries of his time, among them Maharam Schick and Maagalei Tzedek. Throughout his life, he fought to uphold Orthodox tradition and strongly opposed the rising Neolog movement.
In a marginal note, he mentions that he is currently engaged in the printing of his sefer, the Mishnah La’Melech.
