Autographed Letter of Blessing by the Admor Harav Shalom Halberstam of Stropkov, Son of Divrei Yechekzel of Shinova
“In the merit of this mitzvah, he shall merit salvation in all matters.”
The Admor Rabbi Avraham Shalom of Stropkov (1856 – 1940), author of the Divrei Shalom, was the son of the Divrei Yechezkel of Shinova and grandson of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. He was renowned as a pious miracle-worker who brought salvation upon many, particularly childless couples. In 1898, he succeeded his father as Av Beis Din and Admor of Stropkov.
“The Divrei Shalom was regarded as a famed miracle-worker who drew salvation upon thousands. His prayers were legendary, and he composed dozens of stirring melodies that are popular in Chassidic Courts until this very day” (Ish HaEmes p. 7).
