Handwritten and signed letter of blessing from Rabbi Pesach Pruskin of Kobrin, written in honor of the wedding of Rabbi Aharon Teitlebaum’s son.
Rabbi Pesach Pruskin of Kobrin (1879-1940) was a leading Lithuanian rosh yeshiva in the generation prior to the Holocaust. He was blessed with incredible oratory skills and many flocked to hear his Torah discourses. He taught Torah in Slutzk, Shklov and finally in Kobrin. In his youth, he studied under the Chofetz Chaim, and later, in Slabodka. He was one of the first 14 students selected by the “Alter” and sent to establish a yeshiva in Slotzk. Rabbi Pruskin was the rabbi of Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, author of Igros Moshe. He authored Shi’urei Rabbi Pesach Pruskin.
