Questions, responsa and explanations on the “Mordechai” and “Tur Choshen Mishpat, ” authored by Rabbi Yosef Katz, ab”d of Krakow and brother-in-law of the Rema. During the early days of the Rema’s tenure in Krakow, he served as a member of Rabbi Yosef Katz’s beis din.
This important, early responsa is quoted in the writings of some of the leading Acharonim, such as the Bach, the Sma, the Taz, the Shach and others.
This present copy includes [2] unnumbered leaves which are bound at the beginning of the sefer, containing two additional responsa which were added after printing. These 2 leaves are missing in most copies of this sefer.
This first edition was published in Krakow, 1590.
