Autographed Halachic Response from Rabbi Yitzchak Lampronti, Author of “Pachad Yitzchak;” Ferrara, 1716

Halachic response from Rabbi Yitzchak Lampronti, author of Pachad Yitzchak, regarding an "anusa", agreeing with the ruling of Rabbi Avraham Sagri and warning that the defendant must comply with the ruling.

This matter was heavily discussed by all leading Italian rabbis, including the Shemesh U’Tzedaka; his father-in-law, Rabbi Yosef Piamenta; the Raba”ch; Rabbi Yeshaya Bassan; the Mahari Brial and others. Their responsa were published along with Responsa Mahari Lampronti in his sefer Pachad Yitzchak, Part One.

Rabbi Yitzchak Lampronti (1679-1756) was a leading Italian rabbi who imparted Torah to many students. His sefer Pachad Yitzchak, a compilation of responsa and halachic rulings organized in alphabetical order, was widely embraced throughout the Jewish world.

Dated Ferrara, 1716.
