Letter of thanks handwritten by Rabbi Zev Wolf Goldberger, addressed to Rabbi Mordechai HaLevi Horowitz, Av Beis Din of Frankfurt am Mein and author of Responsa Mateh Levi.
The letter is entirely handwritten by Rabbi Zev Wolf and mentions: "To the righteous baron Rabbi Shimon Wolf Rothschild… who was a help and support for me, reviving my soul and the souls of my family this year as well."

Rabbi Zev Wolf Goldberger grew up under the tutelage of his illustrious maternal grandfather, Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Liska. He recorded his holy conduct and miracles in his sefer Darchei Hayashar Vehatov.
